We are seeking a passionate Chef to join our small friendly kitchen team at a golf club. You will be 1 of 3 chefs.
The hours are mainly 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
8am to 4pm weekends.
Occasionally an earlier.start or slightly later finish are required to cover club events. But for cheffing this job has much better hours for a work life balance.
No working Christmas day or boxing day.
The ideal candidate will have a good background in food preparation and production, with the ability to lead the kichen in the head chefs absence if needed. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating and serving delicious dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained. This role requires a positive and friendly attitude.
Responsibilities
To help oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Help to develop and implement menus and specials to exceed customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
Monitor food quality and portion control to maintain consistency across all dishes served.
Maintain a clean kitchen
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills with the capability to multitask efficiently.

Pay: 12.50-14.50 per hour
