We require an experienced and passionate Chef to lead our kitchen,

Our currant loyal and dedicated head chef is moving on to pastures new but will work closely with you until full knowledge of our menu and service has been shown.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and food preparation, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to food safety. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food production, ensuring that our dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation. This role requires a creative individual who can inspire their team while maintaining a positive and efficient kitchen environment.

Duties



Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective team management. Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards. Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences. Maintain strict food safety protocols to ensure the health and well-being of both staff and customers. Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients, negotiating terms as necessary. Train kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to maintain efficient kitchen operations. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health regulations.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food production processes, and culinary trends. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and best practices. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in both cooking and presentation. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards. A culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred but not essential.
