Duties
Oversee all aspects of food production, ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared and presented.
Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills.
Manage inventory, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Monitor kitchen performance, making adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency and quality.
Experience
Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods.
Experience in supervising and managing a team within the hospitality industry.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
