At No12 Easton, we are a small, but dedicated team passionate about making our cafe the premier destination for great coffee and amazing food in the area.

We are excited to welcome an experienced and innovative chef to take over the helm of our kitchen. We currently have an established brunch service, with our Loaded Hashbrowns being a firm fan favourite. The right candidate would be able to help continue refining our menu offerings and coming up with new seasonal items.
Responsibilities:
Kitchen Management: Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including compliance with Environmental Health Organization (EHO) standards. You will be operating solo on weekdays, and with support on weekends.
Ordering and Inventory: Manage ordering, inventory control, and waste minimization, ensuring cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
Preparation and Cooking: Lead food preparation and cooking efforts, upholding high standards of food presentation and taste. Your role will be hands-on, as you takeover the head chef role from our departing head chef.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with our FoH and the KP, who are cross-trained and ready to support the kitchen's needs. Your leadership in the kitchen will contribute significantly to our team's synergy and overall success.
Customer Experience: Drive to create unforgettable dining experiences for our guests, taking their feedback into account to continuously improve our offerings.
Menu Development: Craft and execute a creative brunch menu that aligns with No12 Easton's vision.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a chef, particularly in developing and executing brunch menus for small/medium cafes.
Exceptional culinary skills with a flair for creativity and innovation.
Strong leadership qualities and the ability to work independently with confidence in your decision-making.
Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen management best practices, including EHO standards and regulations.
Capacity to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to the evolving needs of the business.
Comfortable with a high level of autonomy but also knows when to seek assistance or clarification.
