We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of food production and preparation within a restaurant environment. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional dining experiences while supervising kitchen staff and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high levels of performance and morale. Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Ensure all food preparation meets safety and hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations. Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients for menu items. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising kitchen staff. Comprehensive knowledge of food production techniques, culinary arts, and restaurant operations. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Passion for cooking with an understanding of various cuisines and dietary requirements. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and front-of-house staff. A relevant culinary qualification is preferred but not essential.
