Responsibilities

Lead and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service. Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking. Develop new recipes and menu items that align with seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and place orders as necessary. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety standards. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management. Excellent skills in food preparation and production techniques. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A creative mindset with the ability to innovate and adapt recipes as needed. Strong communication skills to effectively lead the kitchen team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 15.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 33 per week
