Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Monitor food production processes to maintain quality control and consistency. Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to enhance menu offerings.

Skills

Proven experience in food production within a professional kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team. A background in hospitality, demonstrating an understanding of customer service excellence. Proficient in various food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A passion for culinary arts and creativity in menu development.
