Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications.
Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and professional development.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Develop new recipes and menu items to enhance customer satisfaction.
Monitor food presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality.
Skills
Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or similar hospitality setting.
Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management.
Excellent skills in food preparation and production techniques.
Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively supervise staff and interact with customers.
