Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a flair for creativity and an eye for detail. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. You will be responsible for leading the kitchen team, maintaining food safety protocols, and contributing to menu development.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Prepare high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Manage kitchen staff, providing leadership, training, and support to ensure a cohesive team environment. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes. Culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred but not essential.

Pay: 15.00-16.00 per hour
