Duties

Assist with food preparation and ensure all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and standards. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Provide excellent guest services by welcoming customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth operations during busy periods. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently within the shift. Keep the restaurant area clean and organised, including tables, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Support colleagues as needed to foster a positive team environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or similar hospitality role is preferred but not essential. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders accurately. Understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours. A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting while also being self-motivated when required. A genuine desire to help others and provide outstanding customer service.
