We are a well-established Japanese restaurant known for our authentic cuisine and friendly service. We are currently looking for a passionate and reliable Hot Food Chef to join our team on a part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of hot Japanese dishes such as tempura, teriyaki, donburi, and grilled items
Ensure food is cooked and presented to high standards
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
Work efficiently during busy service hours
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
Previous experience in a hot kitchen, preferably in Japanese cuisine
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Punctual and reliable
Experience with tempura and wok cooking is a strong advantage
Willingness to learn sushi preparation is a plus
