Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef De Partie to join our culinary team either within our Poole or Bournemouth store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals in accordance with our restaurant's menu, ensuring that each dish is presented beautifully and served promptly. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service periods.
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report any shortages or issues to the kitchen manager.
Participate in the training of new kitchen staff as required.
Follow all health and safety guidelines while working in the kitchen.
Experience
Previous experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and meal preparation methods.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
A passion for culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow within the industry.
