Please note: This is not an entry-level role. Previous professional kitchen experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes to support service flow
Work closely with chefs to ensure consistency and quality in food prep and presentation
Maintain a clean and well-organized kitchen workspace in line with health and safety regulations
Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
Take responsibility for washing, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen tools and surfaces
Contribute to food prep for events and service as needed
Follow instructions precisely and contribute proactively to a team-focused kitchen culture
Requirements:
Minimum 3 year of experience
working in a professional kitchen (restaurant, hotel, or catering)
Solid understanding of food hygiene and safety standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene certification is a plus)
Comfortable with fast-paced service and multitasking under pressure
Confident with basic prep tasks such as chopping, portioning, and operating kitchen equipment
Punctual, dependable, and committed to high kitchen standards
Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team when needed
