Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with our restaurant's standards, ensuring food safety and hygiene protocols are strictly followed. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service requirements. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating as needed. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as required. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Experience

Previous experience as a cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation. Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment used in a professional kitchen environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure. A genuine passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills within the kitchen team.

Pay: 12.21-13.36 per hour
