We are looking for an experienced

Brunch Chef

to join our well established cafe located in Brightons North Laine area. With more than 15 years of quality service we are a popular destination for diners in the heart of Brighton.

North Laine Cafe celebrates brunch and lunch inspired by many tastes and cultures from around the world.

The menu is simple: the highest quality ingredients, sourced as locally as possible, expertly cooked and stunningly presented.

As a CDP you will deliver made to order dishes with quality ingredients from fresh, using local products, prepared with skill and passion. Your passion for food, creativity, precision and attention will mean each dish is executed to the highest standard

Previous experience of independently running your own section and preparing all aspects of brunch is a must, full training on our menu will be provided to the successful candidate.

To apply you must have at least 1-2 years experience in a similar CDP role.

Responsibilities



Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure high-quality dishes are served. Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to create and refine menu items. Assist in training junior kitchen staff and ensuring efficient workflow. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Provide exceptional service during meal preparation and plating.
