We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality meals in accordance with our restaurant's standards. Your passion for food and commitment to excellence will help us deliver an exceptional dining experience to our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Help manage inventory and assist with stock rotation to minimise waste. Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods is advantageous. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is beneficial. A passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Pay: 25,000.00-32,545.09 per year
