We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chef De Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen operations and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals. As a Chef De Partie, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and meal service, ensuring that every dish meets our standards of excellence. This position requires a keen understanding of food safety practices and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Help train new kitchen staff in culinary techniques and safety practices.
Participate in daily kitchen clean-up and maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred.
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
A passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

As Chef De Partie you will work as part of the kitchen team, supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef.
