We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CDP / cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a very fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes on our Starter, Pudding and Pizza sections. ensuring that all food safety standards are met while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.
The hours are Friday - Tuesday 10am - 2.30 / 5-9.30pm
Duties
Prepare fresh salad items for our Pizza, Starter & Main Course sections.
Prepare menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all meals are prepared in a safe and sanitary manner.
Assist in meal preparation for special events or large orders as needed.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant environment.
Previous kitchen experience is essential; restaurant experience is highly desirable.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for hygiene in the kitchen.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
