Duties
Plan and create innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food preparation and production.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
Serving customers and taking orders.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality, presentation, and taste before serving.
Assist in managing kitchen budgets and controlling food costs effectively.
Cleaning fryers, equipment and adhering to the cleaning rota on a daily basis.
Skills
Essential experience working in a restaurant environment as a Chef.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Exceptional culinary skills with experience in food preparation and production techniques.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
Strong communication skills, fostering a collaborative atmosphere within the kitchen team.
A passion for hospitality and providing an outstanding dining experience for guests.
