Job Summary:

Join our team as a CDP in the bustling restaurant at The Vicarage. As a CDP, you will be a crucial part of our kitchen team, responsible for preparing delicious meals and upholding high culinary standards. We are looking for a dedicated individual with a passion for cooking and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional food quality.

Responsibilities:

- Execute food preparation tasks according to recipes and quality standards

- Adhere to food safety protocols and regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment

- Collaborate with the culinary team on meal preparation, ensuring timely and accurate service

- Assist in maintaining kitchen organization, cleanliness, and efficiency

- Contribute to menu planning and innovation under the guidance of the Head Chef

- Support in inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering supplies as needed

- Work efficiently during busy periods to meet customer demand and uphold service quality

- Assist in training new kitchen staff members on cooking techniques and kitchen procedures

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a cook or line cook in a restaurant setting

- Proficiency in culinary skills, food preparation techniques, and kitchen operations

- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with team members

- Passion for the culinary arts, creativity in meal presentation, and dedication to delivering high-quality dishes
