Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CDP to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a CDP, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean workspace.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist in meal preparation and ensure timely service during peak hours Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all dishes served Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and effective communication Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the kitchen manager Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge

Requirements

Previous kitchen experience is essential, with a strong emphasis on food preparation and cooking Culinary experience or relevant qualifications are highly desirable Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy restaurant environment Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues A passion for serving high-quality meals and providing excellent customer satisfaction

Pay: 12.21-12.75 per hour
