We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chef De Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of food items, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of both staff and customers.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
Skills
Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not essential.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal preparation processes.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to maintain a clean working environment.
