A family owned and run local restaurant and bar, serving Asian and South American inspired dishes accompanied by a diverse array of cocktails, craft beers, wines and soft drinks.

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CdP to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for exciting and innovative food, as well as a commitment to maintaining high standards of food preparation and safety. As a CdP, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional meals to our guests while working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The job requires working 2 weekend days (Friday - Sunday) as well as 2 days during the week (Tuesday - Thursday).

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices. Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. Maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure during busy service periods.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask efficiently. A genuine enthusiasm for cooking and creating high-quality meals.
