We are seeking a skilled and passionate chef de partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Chef De Partie, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation, while adhering to food safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all customers
Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods
Assist in meal preparation and plating for service, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager
Requirements
Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably as a Line Cook or similar role
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
