Stunning 4-star Hotel are looking a chef de partie with the option of live-in . You will be working straight shifts based on a 45-hour working week. We seek a dedicated and skilled chef de partie to join our vibrant kitchen team. Offering fantastic career progression for the right chef. As a chef de partie, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and food safety, ensuring that every dish meets our standards of excellence.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are maintained. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant, hotel or similar setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
