We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CDP to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a CDP, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. This position requires a commitment to food safety and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards at all times.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Help train new kitchen staff as needed, sharing knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen practices.
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the Head Chef.
