We a Pub-Restaurant newly taken over by independent owners, ever looking to expand the offering we have in place, and in doing so we have become busier and look to continue to do so, with a fresh food offering. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CDP to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fresh food and cooking, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and presentation
Assist in the preparation of ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
Previous kitchen experience is essential; restaurant experience is highly desirable
Culinary experience with a focus on fresh food preparation
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
