We are seeking a skilled and passionate chef de partie to join our fantastic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management, with experience in busy catering environments. As a chef de partie , you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Assist in menu planning and inventory management, ensuring all ingredients are stocked.
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary.
Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Experience
Proven experience as a chef de partie or similar role in the food industry.
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques.
Experience in food service management, including shift management and team leadership.
Familiarity with inventory control and menu planning processes.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
