Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining high levels of quality and consistency. Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients as required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service times. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to the kitchen manager. Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Previous kitchen experience is essential; restaurant experience is highly desirable. Culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight our customers.
