Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the management of kitchen operations, ensuring that all food production is consistent and meets quality expectations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Help with inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Contribute to menu development by suggesting new dishes or improvements based on customer feedback.
Skills
Proven experience as a cook in a professional kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods.

The 25 bedroom Wisteria Hotel has an on site 25 seat restaurant & bar and 5 event rooms which are used for private dining, meetings, weddings & events, which can cater for dinners of up to 80 & parties up to 180. The hotel is located at the top of Oakham High Street (LE15 6HW) in the heat of Rutland, England's smallest county.
