As a Chef de Partie, you will play a pivotal role in our kitchen and operations to create sandwiches, toasties, cookies and baked goods. You will be responsible for ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and presentation. Your creativity in recipes and dedication to quality will help elevate our menu and leave customers with an unforgettable dining experience.
Duties
Sandwich Creation:
Prepare and assemble a variety of sandwiches, wraps, and baked goods based on our recipes and customer preferences. Ensure consistency in quality, portion sizes, and presentation. Aid the recipe creation and improvement process.
Food Preparation:
Ensure all ingredients are fresh and prepared according to the specification, maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety at all times.
Team Collaboration:
Proactively work closely with the wider team to ensure a great customer experience. Contribute your creativity to expand and innovate our menu.
Inventory Management:
Assist with managing inventory, ordering ingredients, recipe management and ensuring that stock is stored appropriately to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
Kitchen Cleanliness:
Maintain a clean, organized workspace, ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations. Keep kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces spotless.
Support:
Provide leadership and guidance to kitchen staff and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations during service.
Requirements
1-2 years of experience in a similar role (Chef de Partie, or similar).
Passion for fresh, high-quality food and a creative approach to sandwich and meal preparation.
Keen to take on responsibility
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional food standards.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
