We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean workspace.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including workstations and cooking equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen management team.
Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
Experience
Previous kitchen experience is essential, preferably in a restaurant setting.
Culinary experience or formal training is highly desirable but not mandatory.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is required.
Experience in meal preparation and serving will be advantageous.
