Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils. Assist in meal preparation for special events or catering requests as needed. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the kitchen manager. Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential; experience in Italian kitchen is highly desirable. Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is crucial for maintaining a safe kitchen environment. Culinary experience is an advantage, particularly in high-volume settings. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure during busy service periods. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers is essential.
