We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team here at Grand Pacific, and be a huge part of our new Menu. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality plates of food in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Chef De Party, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste and presentation.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining the flow of service during busy periods.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and portioning as required.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and communication.
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
Participate in maintaining kitchen equipment, ensuring it is clean and in good working order.
Skills
Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Previous kitchen experience is essential; culinary experience is highly desirable.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
Experience in meal preparation within a restaurant setting is an advantage.
