Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled chef de partie to join our expanding and talented team at Morston Hall. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a CdP, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Morston Hall is one of the longest running Michelin starred restaurants in the country having held one continuously for 27 years.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to the recipes and instructions provided by the senior management of the kitchen. Assist in the setup and organisation of your assigned section, and master culinary techniques specific to your assigned section so as to deliver the highest standards Be prepared to present and explain dishes to guests Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service times. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.

Requirements

Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods in a professional kitchen. Fine dining experience is highly desirable Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
