Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de partie to join our culinary team. As a Chef de partie you will play a vital role in the kitchen, ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will be responsible for food preparation and meal assembly, working collaboratively with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report shortages to the kitchen manager. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Follow all health and safety guidelines while working in the kitchen environment. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or similar culinary environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. A passion for cooking and commitment to delivering high-quality meals. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
