We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering exceptional meals to our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality expectations Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations at all times Assist in meal preparation for special events or large parties as required Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the head chef Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
