Job Overview

We are seeking 2 skilled and passionate part time Line Cooks to join our dynamic kitchen team. Hours to include evening and weekend work with possibility of some flexibility subject to 2 CDPs being sourced. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards. Your culinary skills and attention to detail will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in the preparation of food items, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and of high quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management, reporting any shortages or issues to the head chef. Help in the training of new kitchen staff as needed, sharing your knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or similar culinary environment is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn. Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food safety practices is highly desirable. A passion for cooking and a desire to develop your culinary skills within a supportive team environment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced setting.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.20-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
