We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/ CDP to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook(Chef de Partie), you will play a vital role in the kitchen, ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
Assist with meal preparation and plating, ensuring that each dish meets presentation standards.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
Help in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Participate in training new kitchen staff as required.
Requirements
Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
