Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or issues to management.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning, stocking, and maintaining equipment.
Be confident in working solo at quiet times.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie is required.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
A genuine passion for food preparation and culinary creativity.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
