Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations. Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times. Assist in the development of new menu items and specials. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or culinary setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals for guests. Previous experience in serving or customer interaction is an advantage but not essential. Pay: 14.00-17.00 per hour
