We're on the hunt for a passionate, reliable and skilled Chef de Partie to join our buzzing kitchen team at The Gates at Ford. A busy, independently run pub known for great food and proper community spirit.
Responsibilities
Running your own section with pride and precision
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and of high quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including workstations and cooking equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures to ensure the highest standards of hygiene.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Adapt to changing menus and special dietary requirements as requested by guests.
What we

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting 1 year.
A passion for cooking and attention for detail.
Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and keeping a cool head.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour
