Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef De Partie to join our team at The Regency Hotel. We are a two Kitchen operation serving 8 function rooms, a busy sports bar and an impressive brasserie. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of food safety and with a pride in your presentation.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices at all times Assist in meal preparation for special events or catering as required Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock rotation to minimise waste

Qualifications

Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant setting Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues Previous experience in meal preparation and serving is advantageous A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 13.50-14.50 per hour
