Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and portioning
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management
Ensure all cooking equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use
Follow all health and safety guidelines while working in the kitchen environment
Requirements
Previous kitchen experience is essential; culinary experience is highly desirable
Strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Experience in a restaurant setting preferred, with an understanding of serving procedures
