We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef De Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in food preparation and cooking, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
Assist in meal preparation for special events or large parties as required.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper storage of ingredients.
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as necessary.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques.
Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations.
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in high-volume settings.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
