We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring guest satisfaction through excellent food presentation and timely service. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple orders
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Adhere to time management protocols to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent guest services
Qualifications
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is desirable
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Experience in food preparation and basic culinary techniques
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively under pressure
Good understanding of guest services and the importance of guest satisfaction
Basic maths skills for portion control and order accuracy
Proven ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced setting
Kitchen or culinary experience is preferred but not essential for motivated candidates willing to learn
