Duties

Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Develop and implement menu items that align with seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food presentation, and kitchen operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain kitchen operations. Assist in the preparation of meals, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Handle any kitchen-related issues that may arise during service.

Skills

Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervising staff. In-depth knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the hospitality industry. Proficient in various cooking techniques and methods for food preparation. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen environment. Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and front-of-house staff. A passion for culinary arts and a desire to create memorable dining experiences for guests. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: 13.00-19.50 per hour
