Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of food production and preparation to ensure quality and consistency. Develop innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard before serving. Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment. Strong background in food production and preparation techniques. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Proficient in cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Extensive kitchen experience with a solid understanding of culinary principles. Previous culinary experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is crucial. Exceptional attention to detail with a passion for delivering high-quality dishes. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining composure.
