Duties

Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring effective team management and communication. Oversee food preparation and production processes to maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene. Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Train and mentor kitchen personnel in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimising waste. Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef in a similar setting. Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising kitchen teams. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Excellent culinary skills with a passion for cooking and creativity in menu development. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and front-of-house staff. A commitment to continuous learning and improvement in culinary techniques.
