We are seeking a passionate Chef to join and lead our kitchen team on sunday lunchtimes with scope for extra hours to cover time off and holidays etc. The ideal candidate will have a background in food preparation and production, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards. As our sunday chef, you will play a crucial role in serving lovely roast dinners alongside a limited sunday menu for our guests while leading the kitchen staff effectively.
Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, maintain great standards of food preparation and presentation.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance to ensure efficient food production and adherence to safety standards.
Maintain hygiene and food safety protocols in accordance with health regulations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Assist in the development of new dishes and culinary techniques to enhance menu offerings.
Skills
Team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff effectively.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
Good culinary skills with a passion for creating innovative dishes.
